Spring outdoor house league


Spring 2024 HOUSE SEASON (Grass Roots soccer program):

Registration is open January 15-March 31.  Season will be played in May and June

ALL SOCCER PROGRAMS CAN ONLY RUN WITH THE HELP OF MANY VOLUNTEERS.  IF YOU ARE ABLE TO COACH OR MANAGE A TEAM PLEASE RESGISTER TO DO SO ASAP.  COACHES WILL BE PROVIDED WITH LESSON PLANS AND GUIDENCE THROUGH OUT THE SEASON.  MANAGERS ARE IN PLACE TO AID IN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN COACHES/KEYSA AND THE PARENTS.  WITHOUT VOLUNTEERS OUR PROGRAMS CANNOT RUN SO PLEASE SIGN UP TO HELP OUT!! ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO SUMBIT A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK.  THE CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK LINK AND CODE IS ON OUR WEBSITE UNDER ABOUT AND THEN CRC/RISK MANAGEMENT.  COACHES WILL BE PROVIDED A LINK TO DO AN ONLINE RESPECT IN SPORT COURSE.  

The program goal of grass roots soccer is to provide soccer programming in a fun inclusive environment.  If your child is turning 9 in 2024 or older and would like to take their soccer to the next level, please check out the KESA Spring/summer REP/Development program where skill development and tournament play in a program goal. 

House Schedule 2024

Tuesdays and Thursdays - Days of play.  Season will start May 7 and run till June 27.

U3/U4 (2021-2020) - 5:15-6:00 Area beside bathrooms

U5/6 (2019-2018) -5:15-6:15 lower fields

U7/8 (2017-2016) -  5:15-6:15 upper fields

U9/10 (2015-2014) -  6:30-7:30 upper fields

U11/12 (2013-2012) -  6:30-7:30 Lower fields

U13-U16 (2011-2006) - 6:30-7:30 Lower fields

*Practices will be held at Moir Park.  Upper fields are at the top of the walking path that takes off from the righthand corner of the parking lot Lower fields are in the dip below the bathrooms.

Parents Please Note:

U7-U16 Players will receive a kit which includes a jersey, shorts and soccer socks the first week of practices, included in registration costs. 

U6 and below will receive a kit with a Timbits shirt and socks the first week of practices, included in registration costs.

All House Players must wear soccer cleats and shin guards.

You are also expected to not wear jewelry at all on soccer fields! This is a BCSA rule and thanks for following it as this is a liability to our association. Thank you for the understanding.

 

COST

U3/4/5-$100/child plus volunteer fee

U6-U12-$175/child plus volunteer fee

U13-U16-$130/child plus volunteer fee

*volunteer fee is $50 per family and will be refunded if a parent signs up and fulfils a coaching or managing position.  Additional volunteer positions may be available through out the season. 

* if paying by etransfer please put your child's first and last name in the etransfer so we can process payments accordingly. KESA refund policy:

Refunds of 50% of registration fees will be given with written request to the board until the 2nd week of season play upon board approval. Requests must be emailed to info@kootenayeastsoccer.com

COVID refund policy:

If programming is cancelled due to restrictions or BC provincial regulations refunds will be given for program fees minus a $25 admin fee.  If programming is stopped part way through and unable to continue refunds will be given on percentage of play missed.
